Board of Directors

The Club is run by elected Directors who volunteer their time to develop and manage our programs, events and Club overall. Directors are elected for a one -year term at the Annual General Meeting each fall.

  • Neil Armitage

    President

With help from the club, Neil learned to swim 750m freestyle before doing his first UBC Sprint Triathlon in 2018. He’s lost track of how many he’s done since, though Oliver 2023 Standard stands out for the fun club times, and first podium.

  • Richie Sheldon

    Registrar

Richie’s lost track of how many triathlons he’s done, but 2 Extreme, 4 Ironman, over 20 half distance and many others. Without doubt though Patagonman is the best race he’s ever done!

  • Brad Hayes

    Treasurer

Brad spent most of COVID training for IM Canada as it was cancelled and deferred again, and again, and again. Ask him questions about Oliver, Victoria, Coeur d'Alene, Cultus Lake, Muskoka, T100 or Penticton.

  • Kristina Nangle

    Swim Director

Kristina’s done 4 halfs and many shorter races. She signs up mostly for the pre-race training & socializing, the in-race thumbs up, and the post-race snack bar and debriefings.

  • Mike Ragosin

    Bike Director

Mike’s done 6 Half Ironmans, ( 2 in Kona called “The Lavaman” ) 6 Olympic-distances, 2 Sprints, and the Vancouver Half Marathon 3 times. What started as a birthday challenge has turned into something bigger

  • Chris Rozitis

    Run Director

Chris’s first triathlon was at Spanish Banks, circa 1982. The next logical step, Kona.

  • Jacky Cao

    Events Director

Jacky spends much of his downtime baking, which eventually led him having the BRILLIANT idea to start running to burn off all of the calories from all of the “product testing”. This eventually led him to discover triathlon

  • Scarlett Liaifer

    Communications Director

Scarlett joined PSTC in 2022 in search of a structured training and social support, as she embarked on preparing for her first triathlon.

  • Maxim Onichtchouk

    Secretary

Maxim only recently learned how to swim properly. However, since then he has participated in the UBC Sprint, Cultus Standard, Victoria 70.3, and 2 BMO full marathons–although mastery of the front stroke wasn’t particularly helpful for the latter

  • Heidi Marcon

    Member at Large

Twenty years separated Heidi's first triathlon from her second. Since then, she's been making up for lost time, mostly trying to have a better relationship with her bike. Tris to date: 6; mix of standard and spirit.

  • Eric Martinen

    Member at Large

Eric got back in the game by competing in the standard distance Tri at Stanley Park this past September 2025 long weekend.  His last Tri before that was in North Bay Ontario a little bit ago in July 2005, then Bala in 2002
