Our run director Jeremy Hopwood is acting as a co-captain at a bike aid station for this Sunday's race in Penticton. He and his team are looking for club members who can help out. The 2010 Fall Swim program is now open for registration.
The 2010 Fall swim program will be held on Monday and Thursday nights 1900 to 2000 (7pm-8pm) starting Monday Sep 20 and finishing on Thursday Dec 16 (no swims on Oct 11, Nov 11). The sessions will be coached by Janka Corewyn, Les Pereira, and Mark Johnston.
Cost: $135
The focus of the Fall session will be on proper swim technique. Proper technique will be taught using drills that utilize a variety of personal swim aids(your provide) including pull buoys, kickboard, paddles, fins as well as other equipment that the club will be providing.
In order to participate in this program, you must be a member of the club. New members are welcome.

Our friends at Glotman-Simpson Cycling are presenting the Cypress Challenge on Saturday August 28th in support of the fight against Pancreatic Cancer.
If you are not in Penticton for Ironman Weekend, consider coming out to support his event, whether as a rider or a spectator.

July 5 - Subaru Vancouver International Triathlon
Congratulations to all who participated in the race. We had a number of members who were on the podium including at least 3 who won their age groups and were crowned provincial champions.
